Juan Pablo Guerrero, a 43-year-old Latino male, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, after being shot near 9551 Telegraph Road in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Cody Ray Wilson, a 19-year-old white male, died Sunday, Nov. 14, after being shot near 9516 Dork St. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Gildardo Cosina, a 46-year-old Latino male, died Monday, July 12, after being shot near Beverly Boulevard & Manning Road in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Edward Angel Lopez, a 26-year-old Latino male, died Thursday, June 3, after being shot near 9211 Olympic Blvd. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Fernie Lopez, a 29-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, April 17, after sustaining blunt force trauma near 9004 Reichling Lane in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Joseph David Torres, a 30-year-old Latino male, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, after being stabbed near 8890 Washington Blvd. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Anthony Pino, a 39-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, Sept. 27, after being shot near 8421 San Luis Potosi in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Juan Manuel Avila Lizarraga, a 28-year-old Latino male, died Friday, Sept. 18, after being shot near 8403 Serapis Ave. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Isabella Cortes, a 13-year-old Latino female, died Sunday, July 5, after sustaining blunt force trauma near 9141 Whittier Blvd. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Moises Vidal, a 31-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, May 2, after being shot near 8800 Whittier Blvd. in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

 Joshua Paul Andrade, a 27-year-old Latino, was found dead Sunday, July 14, by the railroad tracks east of the Rio Hondo River in Pico Rivera, between Washington Boulevard and East Slauson Avenue, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators. 

Andrade was a homeless man who lived in the Pico Rivera area, said Lt. Joe Mendoza. Someone walking near the railroad tracks spotted his body shortly before 9 a.m. and called deputies. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:54 a.m., according to coroner's records. Mendoza said it appeared Andrade was shot, but the autopsy is pending. 

Investigators don't have a motive for the shooting or any suspects, Mendoza said.

Evan Gaulhiac, a 19-year-old Latino male, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, after being stabbed in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Steve Olivares, a 34-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, Dec. 29, after being shot in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Carmelo Pizarro Jr., a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies on Thursday, July 19, in the 7100 block of Pico Vista Road in Pico Rivera, according to Lt. Joe Mendoza. 

Pizarro was shot after crashing his car and running from deputies, Mendoza said, and authorities say he was initially armed but threw down his gun during a foot chase. 

Deputies suspected Pizarro was driving drunk when they first spotted his Mitsubishi Eclipse at Washington and Passons boulevards at 1:37 a.m., Mendoza said. They tried to pull him over but Pizarro sped away, he said, and deputies pursued. Blocks away, Pizarro crashed into a light post and parked vehicle at Eglise Avenue and Bert Street. 

Pizarro got out of his car, Mendoza said, “and fled on foot, armed with a handgun.”

Manuel Arthur-Joel Jacobo, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Thursday, June 28, in the 7100 block of Pico Vista Road in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Deputies were called to the scene at 9:27 p.m. after residents heard gunfire and found Jacobo lying unconscious in the street, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Joe Mendoza. 

Jacobo was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:45 p.m., according to coroner’s records. The cause of death was listed as multiple gunshot wounds. 

No witnesses reported seeing the shooting, Mendoza said, and investigators don’t have a description of the suspect, or know whether the shooter was on foot or in a vehicle. 

Jacobo lived in another part of Pico Rivera with his family, Mendoza said. An online fundraising account that says Jacobo used the nickname "Papa" has been started to help his family cover funeral costs.
