Jacob Koffman, a 17-year-old teenager, was fatally stabbed Friday, Feb. 6, in the 15000 block of Dickens Street in Sherman Oaks, according to police.
Jacob and five others were involved in a dispute over narcotics in the back of an apartment building, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
During the fight, Jacob and another teenager were injured. Jacob was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police said they booked two juveniles on suspicion of murder. An 18-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of sales of narcotics. Police are looking for two more people “of interest.”

Sevada Aghazarian, a 28-year-old Armenian man, was shot and killed Thursday, Feb. 10, in the 13700 block of Burbank Boulevard on the border of Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys, according to police and Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 6:10 p.m., a group of people were inside a restaurant in the area when a dispute arose, said Los Angeles police Lt. Steve Harer.
The group then walked into the parking lot, and a man pulled out a gun and shot Aghazarian several times, Harer said.
Aghazarian was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:53 p.m. said Ed Winter, a coroner’s spokesman. An autopsy showed that Aghazarian died of multiple gunshot wounds, Winter said.
There is no indication the shooting is gang related, Harer said. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male Armenian about 35 years old.

Raul Lopez, a 38-year-old Latino, died Saturday, June 30, a short time after he was shot in the 14500 block of Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Lopez was shot about 11:10 p.m. on Friday just outside Hoagies & Wings, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, who worked as a cook at the restaurant, had pushed out a group of men who had become angry while waiting for food, police said.
"At least one of the men in the group started to argue with restaurant staff. It started to escalate from there," LAPD Det. James Nuttall told KTLA. "The longer it takes to get the food, the situation starts to deteriorate."

Justin Dunlap, a 24-year-old black man, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, after being assaulted in the 14200 block of Huston Street in Sherman Oaks, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Officers responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon about 6:10 p.m., said LAPD Van Nuys homicide Det. R. Bub, who is handling the case.
When authorities arrived they saw three people fleeing the area, Bub said, but they were arrested.
Dunlap was found with blunt-force trauma to the head. Coroner's records show he was taken by paramedics to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m.
Det. Bub said two people were charged with murder in connection with the victim's death: Bryan Figueroa, an 18-year-old Latino, and a juvenile.
The third person apprehended at the scene has not been charged, Bub said.

Vera Michaelson, a 33-year-old white woman, was shot and killed Wednesday, June 15, in the 15000 block of Sherview Place in Sherman Oaks, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police were called to the home of Vera and her husband Alex Michaelson, 39, about 6:40 p.m. When authorities arrived, they found the couple dead, said Officer Bruce Borihanh, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Detectives also found a weapon at the scene.
“It is being investigated as a murder-suicide,” Borihanh said.
Vera was shot several times in the head, according to coroner's records.
“Detectives are interviewing anybody and everybody to see if they can determine a motive," he continued. "There are no outside suspects being pursued.”
Borihanh confirmed that Alex Michaelson was a Tarzana physician and his wife had recently graduated from dental school, but it was unclear where she worked.

Andrew Caprio, a 42-year-old white man, was shot and killed by police Monday, May 24, on the 101 Freeway near the Van Nuys Boulevard exit in Sherman Oaks, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
LAPD Officer Carlos Ayala and his partner were patrolling the Hollenbeck Area shortly before 1 a.m. when they saw Caprio speeding past them in a Mercedes Benz 300E Sedan, according to a police news release.
Caprio was described as driving erratically and committing several traffic violations. Believing he was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Ayala and his partner attempted to make a traffic stop. However, Caprio refused to pull over. He then led the officers on a pursuit that continued through Los Angeles, South Pasadena, Monrovia and back into the City of Los Angeles, police said.

Darlene Robles, a 17-year-old Latina, was shot and killed Tuesday, April 6, in the 13300 block of Moorpark Street in Sherman Oaks, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Investigators from the LAPD's Van Nuys Division said an unidentified male and female drove Robles in a private vehicle to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Panorama City about 5 a.m. After they dropped her off, they left the facility, officials said, and Robles died from a gunshot wound a short time later.
Detectives still do not know the identities of the two who fled the hospital, but they believe the two have information about the circumstances leading up to Robles' death.

Judy Sobel, 62-year-old white woman, was allegedly shot by her husband in an apparent murder-suicide in the 13400 block of Cumpston Street in Sherman Oaks about 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 18.
According to police spokeswoman Kate Lopez, officers from the LAPD's Van Nuys Division were responding to a welfare check when they found the bodies of Sobel and her husband.
