Adrian Paul Ferguson, 42
Adrian Paul Ferguson, a 42-year-old black man, was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 9, in the 6500 block of South Victoria Avenue in Hyde Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly after 8 p.m., Ferguson was in the courtyard area of an apartment building when an argument broke out, LAPD Det. Dave Garrido said.
A man pulled out a pistol and shot Ferguson, Garrido said. The gunman then ran north on South Victoria Avenue.
Ferguson was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:06 p.m.
