Alberto Delpino, a 62-year-old Latino, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, after he was assaulted near Avenue O-8 and Rancho Vista Boulevard in Palmdale, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Delpino was assaulted on Saturday, Jan. 25, after a road rage incident authorities told The Antelope Valley Times.

A community relations deputy told the newspaper that Delpino accidentally cut someone off and a person followed him. Depino got out of the car to apologize and was attacked.

Delpino went home after he was attacked but was then taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on Jan. 28 at 4:54 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

Records show that Delpino died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries.
