Aldo Zambrano, 24

Aldo Zambrano, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Friday, May 18, in the 11100 block of South Avalon Boulevard in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Zambrano was standing in the parking lot outside a mobile phone store about 11:40 a.m. when a gunman opened fire, hitting him and two 20-year-old males, said LAPD Det. Sal LaBarbara.

Zambrano later died at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. According to coroner's records, he suffered a gunshot wound to the torso.

"Zambrano was the intended target,” LaBarbara said. The “motive may be result of an ongoing dispute with gang members."
