Andy Chavez, a 17-year-old white man was fatally shot Saturday, April 13, in the 300 block of Orchid Lane in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The shooting occurred in an alley between two apartment buildings about 1:30 a.m. Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene, and Justin Mark Hansen, a 13-year-old boy, died after being taken to a hospital.

Pomona police Lt. Ron McDonald said a third shooting victim, an adult male, was found wounded close to a car in the alley. He was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. His condition was unclear.

Details about the shooting were scarce, and police had not settled on a motive for the crime, McDonald said. No arrests have been made, and no other information was available about possible suspects.
