Antonio Guerrero, 20

Antonio Guerrero, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, July 9, in the 300 block of Ditman Avenue in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

[Correction: An earlier version of this post, based on information from the coroner's office, identified the victim as Antonio Guerro.]

Deputies responded to a call regarding two gunshot victims at a residence early Monday morning, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.

When authorities arrived, they ordered all of the occupants inside the home to step out. As people exited, officials saw a 46-year-old Latino suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

As authorities went through the location, they discovered Guerrero inside a trailer on the south side of the property.

Both victims were taken by paramedics to a hospital for treatment.

The 46-year-old man was listed in stable condition,  Guerrero was later pronounced dead. According to coroner's records, he died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The relationship between the two men and the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
