Benjamin Alexander Cervantes III, 32

Benjamin Alexander Cervantes, a 32-year-old Latino, was fatally stabbed Saturday, Aug. 17, in the 1400 block of Gloriosa Avenue in Rowland Heights, according to the L.A. County coroner’s office.

Cervantes was involved in an argument with another man about 1:26 a.m. when he was stabbed, according to a news release from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

Cervantes died at a hospital at 2:26 a.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office.

Albert Camacho, 30, was arrested on suspicion of murder the same day, according to a news release.

He is being held on $1-million bail and is due in court Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to online Sheriff’s Department records.
