Bobby Williams, 30, a black man, was shot and killed at 1406 E. Alondra Blvd. in Compton about 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26.

He and Williams exchanged words, then the younger man pulled out a gun and shot Williams several times, said Lt. Liam Gallagher of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:16 p.m.
