Cathy Ann Carrasco-Zanini, 58

Cathy Carrasco-Zanini, a 58-year-old white woman, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the 100 block of North Hamilton Boulevard in Beverly Hills, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers went to a residence shortly before 2 p.m. to do a welfare check and found Carrasco-Zanini dead, according to a Beverly Hills police report.

According to coroner’s records, she suffered sharp-force trauma to the neck.

Later in the day, in a nearby office building, detectives detained a "person of interest," who was booked into the Beverly Hills city jail on a murder charge, according to the report.

The person has since been identified as James Grzeslo, a 54-year-old white man, who lives in Los Angeles.

Grzeslo is being held in lieu of $1.02-million bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown L.A.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 25 at Beverly Hills Municipal Court.
