Charles Adam Hall, 17

Charles Adam Hall, a 17-year-old African American, was fatally shot Saturday, Sept. 1, in the 1400 block of South Redondo Boulevard in Mid-Wilshire, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Hall and another person were standing on the sidewalk talking about 11:30 a.m. when a white four-door sedan pulled up and numerous gunshots were fired, said LAPD Lt. John Radtke.

Hall was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:38 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

The other person was treated and is expected to survive.

Francisco Lopez, who owns a  tire shop less than a block away, said there were two bursts of gunfire.

“We heard the shootings, blam, blam, blam,” he said. “Then it stopped. And then we heard, blam, blam, blam.”
