Clark Davis Turner, 36

Clark Davis Turner, a 36-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday March 5, in the 10200 block of South San Pedro in Broadway-Manchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 1:50 a.m., Turner was standing alone in an apartment courtyard when a four-door, dark-colored sedan heading south on South San Pedro pulled up and a person inside got out, Los Angeles police Det. Dave Garrido said.

The gunman walked up to a gate and fired multiple rounds in Turner’s direction, Garrido said. Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.

The gunman fled in the sedan south on South San Pedro. He is believed to be a black man in his 20s.
