Corie Ray Banks, 24

Corie Banks, a 24-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Oct. 15, in the 2000 block of East 53rd Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers received a call of a shooting about 9 p.m., according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.

When authorities arrived, they found three men, including Banks, shot. The victims were taken to a hospital where Banks was pronounced dead about 15 minutes later.

One of the surviving victims remains in critical condition, while the other was released from the hospital, officials said.

Investigators have not made an arrest in  the case. The incident is believed to be gang-related.
