Daniel Villanueva, 29 [Updated]

Daniel Villanueva, identified by the coroner's office as a 29-year-old white man, was shot and killed Thursday, April 28, in the 7700 block of Alameda Street in Florence-Firestone, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Villanueva got into an argument with another person in a Chuck-E-Cheese's parking lot about 8:15 p.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

At some point, the two walked back to their cars, but then the other person came back and shot Villanueva, Winter said.

Authorities were called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner's records show he was shot several times in the torso and arms.

It’s unknown if the shooter was arrested.
