Danielle Monroe, 40

Danielle Monroe, a 40-year-old black woman, was found dead Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the 8400 block of South Crenshaw Drive in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances at a home about 5:30 p.m., according to an Inglewood Police Department news release.

When authorities arrived, they discovered Monroe dead inside. Coroner's records show she suffered several gunshot wounds to the head.

Officials did not release any further information about the case.
