Darren Dwayne Clark, 50

Darren Dwayne Clark, a 50-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, April 9, in the 7300 block of South Figueroa in Vermont Knolls, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 12:20 a.m., Los Angeles Police officers responded to a call of a man down inside a coin-operated laundromat, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido. Officers found Clark, an employee, with a gunshot wound to the head in an apparent robbery.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
