David Eutsey, 30

David Eutsey, a 30-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, June 2, in the 1300 block of East Tucker Street in Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Deputies responded to a call regarding a gunshot victim about midnight, said sheriff homicide Sgt. Rich Garcia, who is handling the case.

When authorities arrived, they found Eutsey with gunshot wounds to his body. Paramedics were called, and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died in the early morning.

Authorities do not know what led up to the shooting, Garcia said, and there were no witnesses to the incident.
