David Valle, 17

David Valle, a 17-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, March 6, in the 8300 block of North Willis Avenue in Panorama City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Valle was walking up the street when he was shot about 8:30 p.m.

Paramedics were called and the victim was taken to a hospital in Mission Hills where he was pronounced dead less than 30 minutes later.

Wow, I remember walking down the street when I met up with my sisters and said you passed away. I remember all those times that we would get in trouble as the little rascals we used to be. As we grew up I stayed in van nuys and you moved around as well as I. Still, I can always remember you and I, my sisters, your sisters and Bryan hanging out all the time, messing around. But to see that we had a bond growing up, not only with you but your family and my family is really something out of the ordinary in the most positive ways. I still remember saying what's up to you after I was coming back from my college classes. That friendship was always there, the only difference was our way of doing things. Still, it didn't mean we were way different, we each were just more like indipendant. I miss you man. You're one person who will still live on through the memories and love that you have left by impacting everyone you spoke to and who's life you were a part of. God bless you and your lady and baby and family. You're in a better place, when the time comes, we will see you again, just the next time will be for eternity in heaven.
