Dean Oscar Harris, 30

Dean Oscar Harris, a 30-year-old black man, was fatally wounded July 8 in the 13100 block of Broadway in Willowbrook, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Harris was standing outside a warehouse party just before 12:30 a.m. when a car drove by and a shooter sprayed people with bullets, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

Harris was taken to a hospital, where he died at 9:05 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Davion Anthony Miles, who also was standing outside the party, died at the scene. Two other people were listed in stable condition after the attack, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators said the car was reportedly driving erratically as it approached the scene of the shooting. It was described as a light-colored four-door sedan last seen driving northbound on Broadway.

Anyone with information about the shooting can call the sheriff’s homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
