Ediberto Genis, 17
Ediberto Genis, identified by the coroner's office as a 17-year-old white man, died Saturday, Dec. 22, a day after he was shot in the 800 block of East 113th Street in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Genis was standing on the sidewalk Dec. 21 about 3 p.m. when an unknown person walked up and shot him, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he died the next day at 8:50 a.m.
No othe details were available about the killing.
