Eduardo Robles, 38

Eduardo Robles, a 38-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, July 6, in the 4300 block of Eagle Street in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 7:30 p.m., Robles was standing in the driveway of an apartment complex when he was approached by two Latinos, said Lt. Eddie Hernandez with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Robles got into an argument with the two men that turned physical.

The two men then got into a light-colored compact car and drove away.

Shortly after, they came back in the same vehicle and one of the men got out of the car and opened fire at Robles. The gunman ran east on Eagle Street. The driver of the car fled east on Eagle Street then north on South Humpreys Avenue and out of view.

Robles was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:46 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
