Emma G. Rodriguez-Estrada, a 23-year-old Latina, was shot and killed Thursday, March 16, in the 11600 block of South Towne Avenue in Green Meadows, according to  Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., Rodriguez-Estrada left the apartment complex where she lived to meet her estranged husband, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.

Rodriguez-Estrada and the man, who was sitting in his sedan, got into an argument, and the man got out of his car, chased the woman and shot her, Garrido said.

Police suspect Andres Zambrano, a 26-year-old Latino, is responsible for the shooting, Garrido said. Zambrano fled after the shooting and has not yet been found, Garrido said. He was last seen in a white four-door Toyota Camry.
