Ernest Cabrera Jr., 43 [Updated]
Ernest Cabrera Jr., a 43-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Thursday, Dec. 2, in the 1900 block of South Reservoir Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Cabrera was shot about 6:42 p.m. while he was in a car.
Authorities were called and he was taken to a hospital where he died about half an hour later, Winter said.
The Times has contacted investigators to get more information about the case and will provide additional details as soon as they become available.
