Eugene Foxworth Jr., 49

Eugene Foxworth Jr., a 49-year-old black man, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, after being fatally shot days earlier in the 4000 block of West Century Boulevard in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

About 7:10 p.m on Aug. 18 paramedics were dispatched to the driveway of a gas station where a man had been shot. Foxworth was lying on the ground, alert and oriented, with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

He was taken to a hospital where he received treatment for his wounds. Coroner’s records said that his pulse was inconsistent over the several days before he died. He was pronounced dead at 3:46 a.m. Aug. 21. 

Police have not made any arrests and are pursuing all leads, according to a spokesman.
