Gregory Gilbert Aggers, 59

Gregory Gilbert Aggers, a 59-year-old black man, was fatally stabbed Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the 1100 block of West 64th Street in Vermont-Slauson, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 1 a.m., Aggers got into a dispute with another man and was stabbed, LAPD Det. Eric Crosson said.

Aggers was found on the steps of an apartment complex, Crosson said.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Gaspar Medina, 33, was arrested Sept. 19 in connection with the stabbing.

He is due in court Oct. 3, according to L.A. County Sheriff’s Department online records.
