Gretchen Ann Corrales, 54
Gretchen Corrales, a 54-year-old white woman, was fatally shot Friday, Nov. 16, in the 2000 block of Long Beach Avenue in Central-Alameda, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police responded to a 911 call about 2:15p.m. from a passer-by who saw Corrales sitting in her car with a gunshot wound to her head.
A handgun was left at the scene with no note, and authorities determined it was a homicide, said Ed Winter, the coroner’s spokesman.
