Honatan Gonzalez, 22

Honatan Gonzalez, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, July 10, in the 2800 block of Beverly Boulevard in Westlake, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 2 a.m., Gonzalez was shot on the sidewalk outside a banquet hall, said LAPD Det. Ray Martinez. A party at the banquet hall had just ended, but it’s unknown if Gonzalez or the assailant were guests.

Police said that Gonzalez was involved in an argument and was shot. Gonzalez was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:28 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Police believe that the gunman fled on foot.
