Jennifer Logan, 25

Jennifer Logan, a 25-year-old Latina, was shot and killed Wednesday, Aug. 17, near Webb Street and Roscoe Boulevard in Sun Valley, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Logan, of North Hollywood, and an unidentified 22-year-old man were in a car about 6:30 p.m., when at least one attacker opened fire on them, Los Angeles police said.

Logan was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later, said Ed Winter of the L.A. County coroner's office.

Records show Logan died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The man was in stable condition, a police spokesman said. Officials have not arrested any suspects.
