Joe Mike Telles, 71
Joe Mike Telles, a 71-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Friday, Aug. 24, in the 13900 block of Placid Drive in South Whittier, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The shooting occurred at 11:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Benjamin Grubb
Telles’ body was found in a vehicle. He had three gunshot wounds to the head.
The shooting remains under investigation.
