Jorge Hernandez, a 30-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died on July 19. He was shot in the 10600 block of Wilmington Avenue in Watts, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

When i put this is confidential what i meant is im not going to get in detail and in depth of what happend because like you said "to you" it is not that big of story or whatever but with all due respect to me it is a big story. something that changed my whole life in an instint and if you can investigate go ahead obviously its information you can get ahold of but I am not going to begin to relive the whole trial and explain what happend because I rather not I never meant you have not right, so if you or anuone mis interpreted my words i apologize. All i meant to say is that it brings alot of pain to my heart to relive these moments but you have rights as well as we al do and are intitled to search as much information as you want. It is important for all to get informed about these type of crimes because they happen everyday in every part of the world and this story in specific touches me because I am Jorge Hernandez's sister. This is my reality but glad you got the correct information or the one you wanted. for the record when I stated " because this is a murder therefore it remains confidential" well I guess i just stayed stuck on what the attorneys kept tellling us during the trial, but yes the trial is over and it is an open to the public to research any information you seek or anyone seeks for.

When a murder is tried in a California court it is THE PEOPLE OF CALIFORNIA vs MR. OR MRS. MURDERER...being a resident of this state, I AM The people of California, and as such am ENTITLED to any information regarding court proceeding done on my behalf. Of course this does not include information that has been deemed CONFIDENTIAL such as juror information, juvenille information, grand jury indicments, etc. While I understand the family of Mr. Hernandez is NOT OBLIGATED to share information with me. As a citizen of the State of California, it is my RIGHT to know the circumstances and outcomes of crimes committed against MYSELF as a member of the class known as THE PEOPLE OF CALIFORNIA. And as such it is my RIGHT to comment any way I see fit (within the guidelines of this blog) on any murder posted here.

@ Jag yes the justice system and our great jurors helped out alot in the trial and justice is served although Nothing can bring ny brother back I am glad that these cruel heartless criminals are being put away to not harm others. Although I am no one to judge there is only one God and he will judge us al individualy one day I feel for his parents and possible kids he may have because they have no fault in what this persons choices where. Once again these are choices and he as an adult should have thought of what he was going to do before he did it. to this day there are questions left in answered and so much i would like to know but im sure they never will i miss my brother very much and believe he is in a better place jorge you are gone but not forgetten you remain in our hearts... We will always love you and hope to one day see each other again....

First off let me start by saying I am the victims sister and although this is a public website the information stays private, due ro the fact that this was a murder ... and unless you are the family you do not need to know the details... the only thing I will say is this my brother was a kind hearted great person known by all. And on july 19,2009 he lost hoa life to a cruel cold hearted person covered by a bandana and using hia weapon a gun ro end my brothers life the real reason to why this happend only God and the murder of my brother know my brother was not a gang member and the murder was although he claims not to be its only obvious the way things played off but thanks to the justice system and our great jurors they made the righr xhoixe bexause people like the person and people involved in my brothers murder do not deserve to be out in the street causing harm to others we can not play God and go around ending people lives I myself would like to know rhe reason behind this horrible event that has scared my family hia daufhter and all hos loved ones for life hope that now that you see ur begind bars with no freedom you can reflect to the things you dis and your stupid actions hopefully you repent one day bcuz only god will judge u
