Jose Dolores Rodriguez, 42

Jose Dolores Rodriguez, a 42-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the 100 block of East 7th Street in downtown, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 4:15 p.m., a man walked into a clothing manufacturing business and shot Rodriguez, said LAPD Det. Brian Putnam. About two dozen people were working at the time of the incident. A few hours before, Rodriguez and the man, a co-worker, had gotten into a work-related argument, Putnam said.

Rodriguez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m, according to coroner's records.

The gunman walked out of the business and is still at large. Putnam described him as a Latino who is about 5 foot 6 inches and weighs 180 pounds.
