Jose Guadalupe Chavez Jr., 42
Jose Guadalupe Chavez Jr., a 42-year-old Latino, was fatally wounded Thursday, July 22, in the 2000 block of Sheridan Street in Boyle Heights, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.
Chavez was standing in front of his house when a gunman approached and asked him where he was from, then began shooting, according to coroner’s records.
He was pronounced dead at 11:13 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
