Juan Z. Gutierrez, 33

Juan Gutierrez, a 33-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Oct. 18, near Harrell Street and Layman Avenue in Pico Rivera, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Deputies from the Pico Rivera station responded to a report of shots fired about 1:25 a.m., L.A. County sheriff's officials said. When they arrived, they found Gutierrez on a bike with several gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no description of a suspect, and the motive is unknown.
