Times coverage: LAPD asks for help

Los Angeles police released a surveillance video Wednesday to help generate leads in the case of a 17-year-old North Hollywood girl who died of a gunshot wound after she was abandoned at a hospital.

Darlene Robles, a Latina, was left at the emergency room of the Kaiser Permanente facility in Panorama City about 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
