Leonel Estuardo Beltran, 23

Leonel Estuardo Beltran, a 23-year-old Latino, was fatally wounded Monday, July 22, in the 11300 block of South Main Street, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Beltran was driving alone in his vehicle at 11:10 a.m. when a gunman shot into his vehicle, said LAPD Det. Supervisor Rick Gordon.

Beltran crashed into a tension wire from a telephone pole. He was taken to a hospital where he died at 11:29 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Detectives are seeking witnesses to the shooting.
