Louise Marie Graham, 52

Louise Marie Graham, a 52-year-old black woman, was found dead Sunday, May 27, in the 11200 block of Towne Avenue in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 8:20 p.m., Graham got into a dispute with her partner, who strangled her and left the home, Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri said. Graham was discovered in a bathtub by relatives, police said.

Her partner, identified as Edwin Jamal Rubin, a 38-year-old black man, remained in the area after the attack, and neighbors pointed him out to police, Kouri said.

Rubin was charged May 30 with one count of murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
