Luis Valadez, 67

Luis Valadez, a 67-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Monday, Nov. 12, in the 1200 block of Long Beach Boulevard in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Las Palomas Meat Market, which Valadez owned and operated, and found him injured.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7 p.m., L.A. County sheriff detectives said.

Officials are looking for three suspects. They have released a composite sketch of an 18- to 22-year-old Latina who they believe served as a lookout during the robbery. The suspects ran west on Carlin Avenue after the shooting.
