Man ordered to stand trial in killing of brother

A 30-year-old Redlands man pleaded not guilty to murder charges last week after he was ordered to stand trial in the killing of his brother, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

Joshua Kevin Gray was charged Aug. 8 with one count of murder in the shooting of his brother, 28-year-old Isaiah Kevin Gray, on Dec. 11, 2013.

Joshua Gray got into an argument with his brother over the use of a rental unit that Joshua managed. When Isaiah Gray walked away, Joshua Gray shot him in the back, prosecutors said.

Joshua Gray is due back in court Aug. 14, according to online sheriff’s department records.
