Matilde Flores De Sanchez, 58

Matilde Flores De Sanchez, a 58-year-old Latina, was stabbed to death Tuesday, March 25, in the 13900 block of Herron Street in Sylmar, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

LAPD officers responding to call at a home on Herron Street found De Sanchez with multiple stab wounds lying on the living room floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:40 p.m.

On March 27, Freddie Sanchez, 27, was charged with the stabbing death of his mother, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Sanchez is being held on $1-million bail and expected back in court on April 14.
