Miguel Martinez, 27
Miguel Martinez, a 27-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Dec. 6, in the 6400 block of Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Martinez was shot shortly before 2:40 a.m. while in a vehicle, according to a news release from the Long Beach Police Department.
Martinez, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, was pronounced dead at 2:49 a.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
Police said that Martinez was not a gang member. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
