Miguel Angel Moral, 25

Miguel Moral, a 25-year-old Latino, died Sunday, May 1,  less than 15 minutes after he was shot near 150th Street and Waldsworth Avenue in West Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Moral was sitting in a car with a woman on April 30 about 11:50 p.m. when a person approached the vehicle and fired a gun. Moral was hit several times.

Authorities were called, and Moral was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Winter did not know the condition of the woman Moral was with or if there was an arrest made in connection with the killing.
