Milton Noe Fernandez, 41

Milton Noe Fernandez, a 41-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on Monday, July 1, in the 1400 block of South Cloverdale Avenue in Mid-Wilshire, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

At 3:25 a.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired and arrived to find Fernandez on the ground in a courtyard with gunshot wounds, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release.

Fernandez was standing in front of his home when a gunman approached on foot and fired shots at him and two neighbors, according to the release. Fernandez’s neighbors were not injured.

Fernandez was pronounced dead by the L.A. Fire Department at 3:40 a.m., Lt. Joe Bale, a coroner’s spokesman, said.
