Not guilty plea in Venice boardwalk killing

A 38-year-old man accused of using his car to kill an Italian woman on her honeymoon and injure 17 people on the Venice boardwalk pleaded not guilty Wednesday to about three dozen felony counts, including murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Nathan Louis Campbell, 38, is charged in the killing of Alice Gruppioni, 32, who was killed Aug. 3, 2013.
