Reynesha Reed, 24

Reynesha Reed, a 24-year-old black woman, died Monday, Sept. 7, after she was shot in the 12800 block of South San Pedro Street in unincorporated Los Angeles County, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

Reed was found lying on a sidewalk with several gunshot wounds, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Detectives found Reed in the early morning after receiving a call about an injured woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this killing to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
