Roberto Jonathan Lozada, 22

Roberto Lozada, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the 6700 block of Central Avenue in Florence-Firestone, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Lozado finished a shift at work about 8:15 p.m. and was entering his car in a parking lot when several people heard gunshots.

Bystanders found Lozado with gunshot wounds. Authorities were called, and the victim was taken to a hospital where he died at 8:44 p.m.

Coroner's records show Lozado suffered several gunshot wounds to the head.

Winter had no other details about the killing.
