Rolando Estrada, a 26-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Saturday Nov. 7 in the 1000 block of West 92nd Street in Westmont, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

 Shortly before 9:40 p.m., Estrada was standing in an apartment complex driveway with a group of people when a gunman walked up and shot into the crowd, wounding Estrada and another man. A survivor ran to a nearby apartment to contact call authorities, said Lt. Dave Coleman of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

 Estrada and the other man were taken to a hospital. Estrada was pronounced dead at 9:55 p.m., and the other man is expected to survive.
