Russell Goodwin, 50 [Updated]
Russell Goodwin, a 50-year-old black man, was shot and killed Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the 1000 block of Lewis Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Goodwin was chased to the porch of a home by an unknown person and shot.
Paramedics were called, and Goodwin was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:38 p.m., Winter said. The coroner's office had no other information about the case.
The Times has contacted authorities about the investigation and will provide an update as soon as possible.
