Santos Vasquez Pastor, 18

Santos Pastor, an 18-year-old Latino man, was fatally shot Sunday, Nov. 7, near 8th and Alvarado streets in Westlake, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The person left the area, then came back and shot Pastor, Pere said. Authorities were called and Pastor was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he died, according to coroner's records.

Witnesses described the shooter as a Latino male, 20 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 1, 120 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The incident is not believed to be gang-related, Pere said.
