Santyone Moore, a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Sept. 4, in the 9300 block of South Central Avenue in Green Meadows, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 3 a.m., Moore and three others were driving north on South Central Avenue in a dark-colored Dodge sedan when another vehicle pulled alongside them, LAPD Det. Rick Gordon said.

A person inside the other vehicle began shooting at the dark-colored sedan, wounding Moore and two others. The three victims were taken to a hospital; a man and woman are expected to survive.

Moore was pronounced dead at 3:56 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Gordon said detectives do not yet have a clear suspect vehicle description.
