Sergio Rigoberto Iraheta, 22

Sergio Rigoberto Iraheta, a 22-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Oct. 16, in the 1400 block of West 35th Street in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 3 a.m., Iraheta was standing in front of a home talking with another person when at least one person walked up and shot him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Rick Gordon. The other person was not injured.

Iraheta was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:17 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Investigators believe the gunman fled on foot, possibly to a vehicle, but no description was available, Gordon said.
